Great Performers...But
Performers, including Tevin Campbell, .38 Special, and Dave Hollister, were all great, as well as the actors/actresses. My first gripe is that it was already long, especially for a Tuesday night starting at 8 pm. Unfortunately, they started 40 minutes late, which led me to leave at the intermission at 9:55 pm, with over another hour to go. Love Jones, promoted on the anniversary of the movie, made me assume the play was the theatrical version of the movie. Ticketmaster didn't provide any information, so I naturally assumed. I wasn't the only one; when I left, there were 3 other ladies in the elevator leaving for that reason, as they thought it was the movie as well.
